WCF startet Trainee Programm 2013/14
vom 03.10.2013
The World Curling Federation (WCF) launched the Trainee Journalist & Photographer Programme 2013/14 earlier today. Aimed at aspiring young sports journalists and photographers, this year’s Programme will give four students from around the world the opportunity to gain valuable media experience at our Championship events.

This year, one trainee journalist and one trainee photographer will be selected to attend the Le Gruyére European Curling Championships 2013 taking place in Stavanger, Norway. Later in the season, another trainee journalist and one trainee photographer will attend the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship 2014 taking place in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

This unique opportunity is open to students aged between 18 and 30 years of age and in full-time education. It will give students the chance to develop journalistic or photography skills in a practical setting, providing them with vital knowledge and experience which will help them progress prospective careers within the media industry, and hopefully continue to report on curling in the future.
