vom 14.05.2013
The Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) is offering a scholarship for one AIOWF employee to study the University’s inaugural Master of Sport Administration (MSA) course in the Olympic city of Sochi in Russia.

The MSA course will begin in September 2013 for a duration of 39 weeks, until June 2014. It will consist of a series of lectures, seminars, consultations and practical application, and will culminate in a research thesis (diploma).

RIOU is now inviting organisations to nominate interested individuals for this scholarship. This is a unique opportunity for experienced executives working in the sports industry to improve their understanding, develop their skills and learn the best practice in sport business, with a view to progressing their career, and to add value to the sport and the AIOWF.

The first intake of MSA students will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to apply their skills in one of the most exciting settings in the sporting calendar: the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2013-2014 scholarship is worth $30,000 US dollars and covers all tuition fees and accommodation on RIOU’s campus. The scholarship does not cover flights, transfers, transport in Sochi, or living expenses.

This scholarship has been made available by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
